Finally, there is some clarity on the release schedule of Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming flicks- 2.0 and Kaala.
Rajinikanth told reporters at the Chennai airport on Monday that his upcoming political drama Kaala, as speculated by a section of media, won't release in January next year before his highly anticipated Rs 400 crore magnum opus 2.0.
However, he didn’t confirm whether 2.0, a sequel to his 2010 blockbuster Enthiran, has been postponed to pave way to the release of Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man on January 25, 2018.
Meanwhile, Dhnaush's Wunderbar Films, producers of Kaala denied any such development. “Contrary to rumours and articles, #Kaala would not be ready for a January nor Pongal release. @dhanushkraja @vinod_wunderbar", posted Wunderbar Films on Twitter.
In the meantime, the makers of 2.0 have neither confirmed nor denied the rumours that the release of the film has been pushed toApril 13. We will have to wait and watch the developments.
Though there was no official confirmation, it was claimed in media circles on Sunday night that superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0 would get postponed to April and would hit screens as big summer release.
