2.0 getting delayed or not?

Though there was no official confirmation, it was claimed in media circles on Sunday night that superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0 would get postponed to April and would hit screens as big summer release.

However, circles close to Lyca Productions soon clarified that the movie is not getting delayed and it would hit the screens in January as planned.

Editor Anthony revealed that the runtime of ‘2 Point O’ is just 140 minutes, which is the shortest film in the illustrious career of director Shankar.

VFX Supervisor Srinivas Mohan said: “Nearly eleven studios across the globe are working on the CG portions of the film”.

Speaking at the audio launch of ‘2 Point 0’, director Shankar has once again reiterated that the film is not an extension of Endhiran. “Vaseegaran (scientist), Chitti (Vaseegaran’s robot) and ‘2.0’ (the evil version of Chitti) from Endhiran along with many other new characters will be seen in ‘2 Point 0’.

“I must thank Rajinikanth sir, who acted in extreme hot climatic conditions by wearing heavy suits in the film. Despite his health condition and age, Rajini sir didn’t complain much. Even after seeing many victories, Rajini sir still gives his best to do something different from others”, said Shankar.
