It was recently revealed that Dhruv, son of actor Vikram, would make his acting debut with the Tamil remake of Telugu super hit Arjun Reddy.
Now the latest update is that the film would be directed by national award winning director Bala, who gave us Sethu and Pithamagan in association with Vikram.
Sources say that long back, Vikram decided that Bala should launch Dhruv in the industry and the director too gladly accepted the offer.
Recently, Vikram said that his son Dhruv will be making his film debut by starring in the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit film, Arjun Reddy.
"@dhruv.vikram.. ready to make the leap. #DhruvtobeArjunReddy..." he posted on the social media.
The original, which starred Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey, was a big hit in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Producer Mukesh Mehta wrote on his Facebook page: "We are extremely happy to share that Dhruva Vikram will be essaying the lead in the Tamil version of Arjun Reddy."
He added: "We are honoured by the opportunity and confidence shown in us by Vikram and we will work towards making it a memorable launch."
