Nayanthara's Dora to hit the screens on March 31

Dora, an upcoming film starring Nayanthara in the lead role, will make it to theatres on March 31.

Produced by A Sarkunam and Hitesh Jhabak, the film, tipped to be a thriller, is directed by Doss Ramasamy.

Besides Nayanthara, the film has Harrish Uttaman, Shan and Tharun Kshatriya in pivotal roles.

In December 2015, Sarkunam announced that he would produce a horror film starring Nayanthara, which would be directed by his former assistant Dass Ramasamy.

The film began production during March 2016, with scenes involving Nayanthara and Harish Uthaman being shot across Chennai. Thereafter, Thambi Ramaiah was signed to play Nayanthara's father in the film.

The film began production untitled and briefly developed under the title of Tik Tik Tik, before being titled Dora in July 2016.
