Vijay Sethupathi starts Karuppan in Theni

Vijay Sethupathi, who is shooting back to back for a string of movies, has now started shooting for a new movie titled Karuppan.

Veteran producer AM Ratnam is producing Karuppan, which has Lakshmi Menon playing the romantic interest of Vijay Sethupathi.

It is to be noted that Lakshmi Menon and Vijay Sethupathi shared the screen space only recently in Rekka last year.

"The shooting for Karuppan has started in Theni and plans are on to complete the movie and release it at the earliest," sources said.

Director Paneerselvam of Rengigunda and 18 Vayasu fame is wielding the megaphone for the movie, which has musical score by D Imman.

Sources say that Ramji, who had cranked the camera for Ameer’s rustic rural entertainer Paruthiveeran will handle the camera for Karuppan as the film also has similar backdrop.
