The year 2017 seems to have started with a bang for Gujarati actress Monal Gajjar. It is learnt that she will be part of Dhanush's upcoming films VIP 2.
Monal Gajjar, who was last seen in Sigaram Thodu, has signed been to play a crucial role. Her role is said to be similar to that of Surabhi's character in VIP.
It is learnt that Monal has already joined the sets of the film on Thursday, and major portions of the film will be shot in Chennai.
Monal Gajjar had made her film debut with Tamil and Telugu films. After a while, she wasn’t getting many offers so she switched to Gujrati. But it feels this movie will be a great comeback for her in the Tamil film industry.
The film will be directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth with Dhanush's story and dialogues. Kajol and Amala Paul have been already roped in for key roles.
The first movie VIP was a super hit blockbuster. VIP 2 has surely created a lot of excitement around Dhanush’s fans.
