Sasikala Pushpa comes down heavily on Sasikala

AIADMK's Rajya Sabha MP Sasikala Pushpa has demanded a judicial inquiry into the death of former Tamil Nadu chief minister and party supremo J Jayalalithaa.

"It would too wrong to nominate Sasikala Natarjan as the general secretary of the party. Because nowhere madam (Jayalalithaa) has mentioned her name," she told a news agency.

"She has not even given her a councillor or an MLA seat. It shows that political life is not fit for her. She was earlier expelled by Amma for conspiring against her and trying to kill her," Pushpa said.

On Sunday too, Pushpa said that she would fight till her last breath to ensure that former chief minister Jayalalithaa's confidante doesn't become the party general secretary.

She alleged that the cadre and people feel it would be unfair to elect a person like Sasikala Natarajan to the party.

It may be recalled that the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) denied conspiracy theory revolving around the death of its leader Jayalalithaa, who died on December 5 after suffering from a cardiac arrest on December 4.
