Simbu turns music composer for Santhanam

Simbu is all set to turn a music director for his friend Santhanam. The actor will compose music for the latter's upcoming film titled Sakka Podu Podu Raja.

Santhanam posted on his online page: "Thrilled and excited to announce the #MusicDirector of #sakkapodupoduRaja in some time …. A great surprise is awaited for fans. Any guess?"

Sometime later, he posted: "its my #Godfather & #Humane @iam_str #str who is gonna be the #MusicDirector for the 1st time for #sakkapodupoduraja #Grateful #Blessed."

Simbu said: "1st time as #MusicDirector 4 #SakkaPoduPoduRaja Only for coz it is @iamsanthanam. New journey begins, need your love & blessings. #GodBless."

Having worked together in several films, it was Simbu who launched Santhanam in his 2004 Tamil romantic-thriller "Manmadhan".

Sakka Podu Podu Raja, being bankrolled by actor V.T.V. Ganesh, a close confidante of Simbu, also stars Vivekh, Vaibhavi Shandilya and Sanjana Singh.
