Tarun Vijay meets OPS in New Delhi, assures all support

National president of Students and Youth For Thiruvalluvar, (SYT)  and former BJP MP. Tarun Vijay met the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu O Pannerselvan  along with the national Coordinator of SYT Rama Subramanian and assured him all support  for the welfare of the Tamilnadu people.

According to a press note, he said that serving the poor anfd empowering women must be the two major planks of the governmentt,  to realise the vision and dreams of the late CM, J Jayalalithaa.

She served the poor, marginalised and the farmers all her life and her welfare schemes have become an example in public welfare world over. Tarun Vijay presented the CM a reprint of the ancient Thirukural published in 1812.

Commenting on the relocation and opening of Thiruvalluvar statue in Hardwar today,  Tarun Vijay said that with this, his promise to Tamil diaspora world over has been completed.

He thanked Tamil people, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah for helping the statue installation.

He said that when the challenges came in many forms at  Hardwar, it was Amma's intervention and her letter  to PM Modi that changed the situation and woken up the administration.

The statue shall forever remind India the love and affection of Uttarakhand people fopr the Tamil heritage and culture and will serve as the binding g force strengthening national unity.

He said  that in the coming world book fare he intends to inaugurate a simple Hindi book on Thiruvaluavar and next Pongal a campaign top popularise thiruvalluvar statues in every home, in Tamilnadu and in North India as a tribute to Amma.
