Arvind Swamy, who has made it big in the second innings post Thani Oruvan, has signed a new movie with director Selva of Amaravathi and Naan Avan Illai fame.
In the yet untitled flick, he will be playing the role of a honest police officer. Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame will be seen as Aravind Swamy’s pair in the film.
The movie will be produced by Magicbox Films, who earlier bankrolled Vijay Sethupathi’s Pannaiyarum Padminiyum.
At present, Aravind Swamy, the hero of Uyire and Bombay, is eagerly expecting the release of Bogan, while he will do the Tamil remake of Malayalam hit Bhaskar The Rascal.
Also, he is currently busy shooting for Sathuranga Vettai 2 with Trisha.
Sathuranga Vettai 2 which has Arvind Swami and Trisha playing the lead roles went on floors recently.
The movie which is directed by Nirmal Kumar is a sequel to the hit film Sathuranga Vettai which had Natraj in the lead.
