For his upcoming action thriller Dheeran Adhigaram Ondru, in which he is playing a cop, Karthi is undergoing police training.
The movie, shooting for which will start on January 17, will be directed by Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai fame.
The movie will be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen as Karthi’s pair in Dheeran Adhigaram Ondru.
According to sources, "Karthi is now undergoing vigorous training at the YMCA campus. The shoot of the film is all set to begin on January 17."
The actor is said to play the role of an investigative officer in the film, which is touted as a complete action thriller.
Ghibran, the young composer who has become a regular in Kamal Haasan films, is at present busy with much awaited projects like Magalir Mattum and Aramm.
