Director Ranjith turns producer

Kabali director P Ranjith entered industry through critically acclaimed Attakathi and he has established himself as a versatile director through Madras.

He got his worldwide fame through Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali and thus he got Rajini's next film.

Now he has started his production house Neelam productions and is producing the film Pariyerum Perumal and he introduces director Mari Selvaraj in this film.

Mari Selvaraj is the assistant of Ram in Katradhu Tamizh, Thangameengal and Taramani. This film is based on a youngster's life in Tirunelveli and has all elements like love and action.

Kathir who got his fame through Kirumi is playing the lead role. Anandhi plays the female lead and Santosh Narayanan scores the music.

Art direction is going to be did by Ramu and Sridhar is the DOP of the film. The shooting is going to start on January end and the direction team is staying in Nellai from now to start the proceedings in January end.

As the film shoot completely happens in Nellai, the people of the town are said to be casted in the film.
