Kamal Haasan on Tuesday took on chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Twitter and virtually sought his resignation.
"If one state's CM should resign for a mishap & corruption under his govt. How come no party calls for resignation in TN. Enough crimes done," he tweeted.
He also said: "My aim is a better Tamilnadu.Who dares to strengthen my voice? DMK AIADMK & parties R tools to help. If those tools R blunt find others."
Stating that we all are slaves till we get freedom from corruption, he urged people to join him in new freedom struggle.
Posting a picture of a techer and few students saluting national flag on Independence Day by standing in floods, he said, "Location Noskara, Dhubri dustrict. up loaded by a TET teacher Mizanur Rehman. May be the best picture of the day."
He added: "This is just one example of our trust in our nation. Politicians who dont live up to it have already failed. Become redundant or serve."
