Ajith is a skilled pilot and is capable of flying a fighter jet. The latest report is that the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) has appointed him as its ‘Helicopter Test Pilot and UAV System Adviser’.
He will be assisting the institute in building advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Medical Express-2018 UAV Challenge.
It will be held in Queensland, Australia in the month of September. Despite his busy shooting schedule, Ajith will be contributing to this competition.
The actor will apparently receive a salary of Rs 1,000 per visit, which he has offered to donate towards the education of MIT’s poorer students.
On the film front, Thala Ajith will begin the shoot of Viswasam by the end of this week in Hyderabad. A grand set is erected for the film and Nayanthara is also expected to join the shoot along with Ajith.
It can be remembered that a video of Ajith Kumar operating a drone at Vivegam's shooting spot went viral while the film was in the shooting stages.
