Rajini back in Chennai

Superstar Rajinikanth, who was in the United States for the past couple of weeks for health check-up, returned to Chennai on Monday night.

He was accompanied by his elder daughter Aishwarya R Dhanush and the 'thalaivar' was seen in his usual activeness. Now that he has returned, he will resume shooting for his upcoming flick Kaala, besides discussing political plans with well-wishers and advisors.

On Wednesday last, in a tweet from the United States, the top actor has urged the state government to withdraw the additional tax, which has affected the industry.

"Keeping in mind the livelihood of Lakhs of people in the tamil film industry, I sincerely request the TN GOVT to seriously consider our plea," he posted.

Also, during his stay in the US, he played gambling, which created controversy. But Rajini fans slammed critics by saying that he did nothing wrong.

On the other hand, the team of Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming Tamil science-fiction action drama 2.0 is hopeful of converting as many screens as possible into 3D for the release of the film.
