Shruti Haasan's special sessions for Sangamithra

Shruti Haasan is underoing special training for her role in director Sundar C's magnum opus Sangamithra, which is being made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Sources said Shruti Haasan, who plays the titular role in Sundar C's period historic film Sangamithra undergoes rigorous fight training in London.

Since Shruti is popular in all three languages, she has been selected for the role. Apart from her, the film has Jayam Ravi and Arya in lead roles.

Both Arya and Ravi will have an image makeover comparing to their previous films that they will be gaining 10 to 15 kilograms.

“#SundarC’s magnum opus produced by Sri Thenandal Films titled #Sangamithra wil star @actor_jayamravi, @arya_offl! Music scored by @arrahman!,” tweeted Thendral Films, which is bankrolling the multi-crore film, recently.

Expressing the excitement, both Arya and Ravi described Sangamitra as their dream project.

“Can’t wait to join my buddy love @actor_jayamravi #sundar Sir and @arrahman sir musical thank you @ThenandalFilms for this dream project,” Arya posted on his Twitter page.

“Proud to announce my association wit #sundarc Na, darling @arya_offl & a dream come true @arrahman(sic) #Sangamithra for @ThenandalFilms,” tweeted Jayam Ravi.
